In 2005, Mark Pentico opened the first and only funeral trade service in Omaha to be owned and operated by a licensed funeral director. Then in 2009, they moved to the current location that is centrally located in the heart of Omaha. One year later, Nic Douglas took over changing the name to Douglas Trade Service & Crematory.

Owner/Funeral Director:
Nic Douglas attended University of Nebraska Lincoln and graduated from Kansas City Kansas Community College in 1999 with a degree in Mortuary Science. From there he worked at Westlawn Hillcrest funeral home in Omaha, followed by Livingston Butler Volland in Hastings until purchasing Pentico Trade service in 2010.
